NJ's Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced additional US concerts to their 2008 summer tour itinerary. Bruce and band, who are currently touring Europe, have announced gigs at Pennsylvania's Hershey Stadium Aug. 19 and Nashville's Sommet Center Aug. 21. These two dates follow a three-night homecoming gig at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, and a show at Foxboro, MA's Gillette Stadium. The Boss and company have also been announced to play the Aug. 30 Harley Davidson anniversary party in Milwaukee.
Springsteen and the E Street Band made a grand return to touring last year in support of their platinum-selling October 2007 release, Magic. This marked their first new studio effort since 2002's Grammy award-winning The Rising. In February 2008, Springsteen and band added to their Grammy collection, with awards for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance and Best Rock Song honors for the single "Radio Nowhere."
Fans can also hear Springsteen's music, interviews and news on "E Street Radio," the commercial-free Springsteen channel on Sirius Satellite Radio. Sirius recently extended the exciting "E Street Radio's" limited run for a second time due to fan demand, according to a press release. "E Street Radio" is now expected to air through mid-2009.
A must see concert!
